A contemplative resource

Self & Other

This site gathers three streams of inquiry into direct experience: naked awareness, dyads and the Enlightenment Intensive, and the Lila-space. Each section offers its own approach — yet all point toward the same basic truths of life.

Awareness

Naked Awareness

  • Naked awareness — or pure awareness — is foundational to all contemplative practice.
  • It lies at the heart of both contemplation and metacognition.
  • Approaching life from within naked awareness cuts directly at the tendency to be drawn into illusion and lost in reactivity.
  • In this way, awareness itself becomes the stable "base" from which all experience unfolds.
  • The practice is simple in form: detach awareness from whatever it is aware of and be directly aware of awareness itself.
  • Because it works at such a fundamental level, it deepens any other spiritual practice you engage in.

Dyads

Dyads
Enlightenment Intensives

  • The dyad is a contemplative art practiced by two people working together.
  • One partner contemplates an instruction — such as "Tell me who you are" — while the other listens with full, open attention.
  • Communicating what arises from inner work clears mental and emotional obstacles, allowing you to go deeper rapidly.
  • The listening partner receives without evaluating, advising, or reacting — creating a rare space of genuine, empty presence.
  • Dyads are used for enlightenment inquiry, clearing emotional blocks, recovering hidden abilities, and deepening relationships.
  • Because it combines inner practice with honest communication, the dyad illustrates in direct experience what makes relationships work.

Lila

Lila

  • The Lila Paradigm views reality not as a collection of isolated parts, but as a vast, interconnected web of conscious beings.
  • While many practices focus on individual awakening, Lila shifts the focus to the shared relational field between us.
  • Through the core contemplation of "Open to us," participants learn to move beyond the illusion of a separate self.
  • By relaxing into this shared Lila-space, we experience the profound, underlying unity and unconditional acceptance of the whole.
  • It reveals that we are not isolated fragments, but unique facets through which the entire universe is looking at itself.
  • As this "we-consciousness" deepens, it naturally permeates daily life, bringing ease to relationships and dissolving everyday problems.
